You own a comedy club

Your room, your resident team, a programme that fills itself

A room of your own means a standing programme, a resident crew and a door to account for. What goes on that programme is your call and always will be. What Confirmed simplifies is everything that has to happen around it, forty times a year.

Where the programme goes

A standing programme, without the standing admin

Some nights skip a step, but most of your programme goes through the stages below, week after week.

  1. Survey

Set up the coming weeks' nights, then ask your regulars and applicants which ones they can do. The replies are tied to the spots they apply to, so you fill the room from who is actually free.

    How it works
  2. Plan

Pencil acts into each night and balance the bill while it takes shape. Nothing goes out while you plan, so you can move acts around until the programme works.

    How it works
  3. Offer

Offer spots to your regulars and applicants from the night itself, one by one or all at once, each with a deadline. Their answers show up on the night, so you can tell at a glance what still needs filling.

    How it works
  4. Showtime

The day before the show, message the night's bill with the running order and ask them to RSVP. Each RSVP shows up as a double tick. Afterwards, every night settles against what it took on the door, so you can see which nights pay for themselves.

Around the booking

The admin, streamlined

  • Availability surveys

Ask your acts who is free and get the answers back in a form you can book straight from.

Set the survey to the spots you actually have, by paid or unpaid, spot length or venue, and share one link. Agents answer for everyone they represent at once.

  • Crew management & scheduling

Add your crew to the show alongside the acts, and give everyone on your team the access their job calls for.

Crew spots are in the same lineup as the acts, with shifts of their own, and everyone on your team gets a role that sets what they can see and change.

  • At a glance

See where every show stands without opening it, and build the bill by dragging acts into spots.

Each show has a status that says whether it can go ahead, a lineup that shows each spot's act and whether it is planned, offered or confirmed, and its box office figures. Open any act to see their history with you, down to the no-shows, before you pencil them in.

  • Settlements (pro)

Settle up with everyone at once, and pay them all from one file for your bank.

Each act gets a settlement report to approve, with their invoice and bank details collected on it, and the fees get marked off as you pay them.

On the night

The show itself

  • Showtime (pro add-on)

Run the night itself: the screens, the music, the lights and the audience's phones, off one running order.

One running order drives the screens, the music, the lights and the audience's phones, off the same laptop the bill was booked on.

  • Cue

The acts can see their remaining time from the stage, so you can put the phone torch away.

The act reads their own countdown from the stage, and you can put a line across it without leaving your seat.
