The acts can see their remaining time from the stage, so you can put the phone torch away.
Instead of standing at the back of the room with a torch, you can show your acts their remaining time on a screen they can see from the stage. Open the show's cue link on a tablet, and put a line of text up on it from Showtime whenever the act or the MC needs one.
Confirmed supports permanent links that follow the shows in a specific venue, so you can set up a cue screen there once and leave it as the evening goes on.
From Showtime, you can give an act who's going well another minute, or take thirty seconds off one who's running long, and the cue screen updates straight away. Once an act runs over, the countdown turns red.
While the MC is on, the cue screen shows them who's up next, pronouns included, so they always have the name to hand. You can set up prompts of your own where you need them, such as "15 minute break" on the interval, with a timer to match.
